This is a self-practice project that I chose to do during my undergraduate study. The design is based on Adam Elliot's stop-motion animation movie 'Mary and Max'. I chose Mary and Max because I love the story and Adam Elliot's aesthetic. In this project, my concept is to design this movie into a musical. Therefore, I tried to reserve as many details of the characters that I observed in the movie in my design and added many new things based on the character's habits. All the costumes are designed based on comprehensive character and historical research. I also developed some scenic design ideas.
